You may have seen on my Instagram that my partner Alex and I recently went on a fun little road trip along part of the Great Ocean Road, a few hours outside of Melbourne. For one of the two nights that we were out on our adventure driving a new Holden Astra along picturesque coastline, we stayed at a colourful place I just have to share with you all – Kookaburra Cottages! This place, located in Apollo Bay, is a rainbow coloured dream… I know that you’re going to want to add it onto your list of places to visit once you read about it and see my photos below! 🙂
I thought I’d try making my own version of ‘unicorn bark’, the viral food sensation that recently swept through Facebook and Pinterest! Now I’m not much of a whiz in the kitchen, hence I ran into some difficulty due to some baking chemistry, haha… But it all came together in the end! Read on below to see how you can make this rainbow treat at home 🙂
Recently I dropped by the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) with my boyfriend Alex to check out ‘When Happiness Ruled’, a very fun and funky exhibition by Australian artist ‘Pip & Pop’ (aka Tanya Schultz)… And it did not disappoint!! <3
We were greeted by sugary landscapes of colour and sparkles, and I instantly wished I could shrink myself down to run around in the fun little worlds on display! The more you looked at each little ‘island’ the more small details you noticed, it was so magical! There were moving components as well, which made the exhibition really come to life. I’ve been a fan of Pip & Pop’s work for a long time now, so it was awesome to finally see some of it in person, and I made sure to snap some photos and a few little videos while I was there to share with you all 🙂 Click through below to check them all out!!
Recently I was lucky enough to be able to attend the ‘Australian International Tattoo Expo’ here in Perth. I dropped by on Sunday the 18th of September (the final day of the expos three day run), and armed with my ‘media’ badge and my trusty camera I went around and enjoyed the sights and everything that the expo had to offer! I snapped photos of anything especially colourful and fun to share with you all – here are some of my favourite shots from the day!
