Earlier this year I was lucky enough to have the opportunity work on this fun editorial with an amazing team of local creatives! It has recently been published in the latest issue of COLE Magazine, which means I’m finally able to share the photos with you all. When I saw these images, I was blown away… Definitely one of the best shoots I’ve been involved with in my career so far! (Click through below to see the whole editorial)

‘Perth Artists’ – A peek behind the scenes of P’JUNK!

Late in 2017 I was involved in a mini documentary series that centres on the vibrant arts community here in Perth, Western Australia. Each episode spotlights the work of a different local creative – One of those creatives being little ol’ me 🙂 The series was put together by the wonderful Peter Cheng of Acid Flicks, and I feel so lucky to have been able to work with such a professional filmmaker – The resulting episodes are a testament to his talent behind the lens!

The episode featuring my work aired earlier this year on West TV, but has now recently become available to view online – If you missed out on seeing it on TV you can now stream it on YouTube! Take a peek to see behind the scenes of my label P’JUNK, and hear a bit more about me/my work… I hope you enjoy watching!

SPECTRAL

Recently I was involved in a fun collaborative shoot with some other local Perth creatives and friends – We worked together on a colourful editorial using my P’JUNK fashion designs, shot on location at ‘PEEP SHOW’, an exhibition by Sheridan Tjhung at ‘There Is’ gallery in Northbridge. The resulting images absolutely blew my mind – I knew from being at the shoot that they were going to be good, but when I saw the finished product I was so thrilled! The above image was my favourite, and the rest are just as wonderful… Click through to the full post below to check out more outfits and shots!

‘The House of Dior’ Exhibition | National Gallery of Victoria

This week I was fortunate enough to find myself in Melbourne at the same time as ‘The House of Dior’ exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. I’d seen details of the exhibition online earlier in the year, and lamented the fact that it wasn’t coming to Perth, as it was an exclusive collaboration between NGV and Dior to celebrate the houses seventieth anniversary. So I was super thrilled that I ended up in Melbourne for a few days with my partner Alex while it was open, so I didn’t miss seeing it!

There was so many beautiful pieces (over 140 designs!), all arranged in the most magical way… Walking through the gallery amongst all of the elaborate couture garments was a very special moment for me, and something I feel so lucky to have experienced. Alex really enjoyed the exhibition too despite him not being a total fashion lover like me, so if you have a boyfriend/partner/friend who isn’t necessarily into fashion it’s definitely still something they will find interesting to check out! I snapped lots of photos while I was there to share with you all, you can take a peek at them below 🙂
